About Paula
Hi, I'm Paula Andrea Acevedo, a Colombian fine line and ornamental tattoo artist based in Los Angeles.
My work is rooted in line, movement, rhythm, negative space, and the relationship between art and the body. I create original tattoo pieces that are developed independently, shown privately, and tattooed only once.
The Journey
My path as an artist has been shaped by transformation, movement, and the experience of building a life far from where I began.
Over time, I realized that my strongest work emerged when I followed my own visual language rather than creating around outside references.
This new chapter is a return to that instinct: creating original pieces with freedom, intention, and a clear artistic identity.
The Visual Language
I specialize in fine line ornamental work designed to move naturally with the body.
My visual language combines delicate linework, organic forms, negative space, flowing details, and jewelry-inspired elements.
Some pieces are balanced and structured. Others are more fluid, asymmetrical, and free. Each design is created as an original work and is never repeated after it is selected.
The Process
Each design begins as an independent work of art.
Available pieces are shown during a private in-person or virtual viewing. Once a design is selected, we discuss the intended placement and how the piece will live on the body while preserving its original composition and scale.
Every design is tattooed once.
I create the work first. The private viewing is where the person and the artwork meet.
How the Private Collection Works
The private collection is focused on medium and large-scale work, generally beginning around 5-6 inches depending on the design.

- 2Meet with me in person or by Zoom to see the original designs currently available.
- 3Choose the design that feels right for you.
- 4We discuss the intended placement and how the piece will move with your body while respecting its original size and composition.
- 5Once a design is selected, it is removed from the collection and never repeated.

Artwork & Design Policy
My designs are original, unique works shared privately and tattooed only once. A deposit secures your appointment time but does not transfer ownership of the artwork. Designs are tattooed only by Paula and are not for resale, replication, or use by another artist.
Once a design is tattooed, it becomes part of your story. My goal is to create unique pieces that honor your individuality while also respecting the years I've dedicated to developing my artistic style. Thank you for valuing this process and the originality of the work.
