After Care Instructions

Please follow these steps to ensure your tattoo heals beautifully and safely.

Step-by-Step Aftercare

1
Keep the bandage on for the next 5 days. If you notice blood inside the bandage, leave it on and do not remove it prematurely.
2
On the 5th day, gently remove the bandage during your shower.
3
After removing the bandage, wash your tattoo with mild, unscented soap like gold Dial or white Dove for sensitive skin. Pat dry gently, avoiding rubbing.
4
Apply a thin layer of Aquaphor or unscented Aveeno lotion to the tattoo for the next 5 days to keep it moisturized. Make sure all skin products are not expired.

Sun Protection

  • UV rays can fade and damage your healing skin. Keep your tattoo completely covered or out of direct sunlight during the healing period.
  • Once fully healed, always apply sunscreen to protect your tattoo from fading.

Special Care for Hands & Feet

  • If your tattoo is on your hands or feet, avoid manicures, pedicures, UV/LED light curing, acrylics, gels, or strong chemicals.
  • These treatments can irritate the area and interfere with healing.

Avoid During Healing

  • Saunas, jacuzzis, pools, beaches, and tanning beds for the healing period.
  • Touching your tattoo with dirty hands.
  • Picking, scratching, peeling, or rubbing scabs — let them fall off naturally.
  • Heavy exercise that causes excessive sweating or friction on the tattooed area.

Additional Advice

  • Treat your tattoo like an open wound, ensuring it heals properly and faster with good care.
  • If it becomes itchy, gently wash and hydrate the area.
